Here's a recent 2-hour mix from some premier turntablists. Cut Chemist's Litmus Test Mix recalls many of his Jurassic 5 sample work, including brief freestyling installaments for good measure. The mix closely follows his recent EP of the same name.
Kid Koala's mix includes a preview of his new album, Your Mom's Favorite DJ. His technique is interesting because of his approach to the decks. Using the turntable as a sort of instrument, he generates melodies by rapidly scratching a sound at different speeds.
J Mountain closes the set with an extended sampler of new and old styles, including a pair from the late J Dilla and a cut from Bonobo's new album, Days To Come.
